Tom’s Quick Lube is located at 26676 Highway 281N near the Iron Skillet. Tom and Dana Anderson opened Tom’s Quick Lube in July of 2003. With much community support, business has been steadily increasing since it opened. Besides oil changes and lube jobs, they offer brake jobs, air conditioning work, replace batteries, tune-ups and other automotive work. Tom’s Quick Lube is owned and operated by the Anderson Family along with some very dedicated and wonderful employees. It’s also quite common to see Tom and Dana’s children working hard at washing windshields, checking tire pressures, entering customers into the computer and helping with all aspects of an oil change. The kids are very involved and enjoy helping when they are not busy with their many activities. Tommy is a Senior at Smithson Valley High School and is currently the Head Drum Major in the marching band. As he plans on becoming a commercial pilot, he is getting in as much flying time as possible, before heading off to Florida after he graduates. Ashley is a Junior at Smithson Valley High School and is a Section Leader in the marching band. Her favorite pastime is motocrossing. Chris is in the 4th grade, likes to skateboard, play basketball and play the guitar, and like his sister, enjoys motocrossing. Tom’s Quick Lube tries to be at as many community events as possible. This past Christmas, the Chamber’s Bulverde Downtown Lighting was a great success as we gave away 240 hot dogs and chips within a 2 hour period! Last year at the Village of Bulverde Freedom Fest Jubilee, Chris rode his motorcycle in the parade and his cousin Austin, rode on his scooter. The ice cream they served was a hit at the Jubilee as it was a pretty warm day. At past Christmas lightings, Tom and Dana have sponsored the cookie decorating activity and also make your own ice cream sundaes. Dana says it’s fun to be a part of great community like Bulverde and would like to thank everyone for being such loyal customers.
