Member of the MonthSeptember 2007 Robert Evans Bradfield Properties A couple of years after moving to San Antonio Robert Evans had the great good sense to move to the Hill Country. Later he compounded his good fortune by joining Bradfield Properties as an agent in 1999. As Evans explains “The choice of Bradfield was obvious. It has the public image of being a quality organization and it lives up to that image. As the largest locally owned real estate broker in the SA area it is big enough to give me the type of support that allows me to provide for my clients properly. Importantly (to me), it also has the atmosphere of a family run business which makes it a satisfying place to work.” Family is important to Robert. He teaches his children about the importance of family, friends and community. He has been on the Chamber’s Board of Directors for the past three years. He was Co-Chair for the annual Run for the Hills in 2006 and 2007. He is on the Jubilee committee for the Village of Bulverde and is the President of the Spring Branch Bulverde Family Lions Club. According to Evans “The Lions Club family membership is important to me. Most people recognize the importance of supporting their community but many of our residents work in San Antonio and spend a lot of time away from their families. This is a way that they can get involved with their community and still spend time with their families. It also helps teach kids about the joys of being a productive part of their community. My wife and children are members as well.” His daughter, Anna and his son, Robert Cole, help with many of the Lions Club’s functions. Robert Cole can often be seen helping with the Chamber’s quarterly highway clean up. “Anyone interested in the Lions Club is welcome to call me.” Evans said. According to Evans “You need to understand the importance of the internet in today’s market. At least 90 percent of homes in the US are online. The internet is the first point of reference for most buyers. I like the distinction that our Director of Marketing made. ‘Print media is finite; the internet is infinite.’ That is the internet media can reach pretty much anyone in the world at any time of the day or night. All they have to do is look and all we have to do is to be there when they do look”. Through Bradfield Properties’ services and many other memberships and associations Robert maintains a strong presence on the web without ignoring the more traditional forms of marketing.
