1863 Florist opened in September of 2006 in Bulverde, Texas. We are a partnership, owned and operated by Karen DeVere and Stephen F. Grigory. We are a traditional florist, with a primary focus on fresh cut flowers and unique plants. We also carry traditional style gourmet gift baskets, fine chocolates, balloons, greeting cards and other gifts. At 1863 Florist we also do weddings, parties and other special events. We provide same day delivery to the Bulverde and Spring Branch area primarily, but also deliver into the northern part of San Antonio. 1863 Florist offers a 7 day freshness guarantee, with our company slogan being “We only deliver when it’s fresh”. Have you ever purchased a bouquet at a big box retailer, only to be disappointed to find it didn’t last as long as you thought it should? Flowers have special storage requirements. Our flowers are stored in specialty floral coolers at optimal temperatures with high humidity to ensure we consistently meet our high quality standards. Our product comes from around the world, and we are now carrying exquisite, unique boutique roses grown right here in the USA. We have selected these roses because they have a vase life of greater than 7 days! We pride ourselves on providing quality flowers and gifts that are custom designed to meet our customers personal needs.
