Chicki's Coffee Shop opened its' doors September of 2004. The Coffee Shop is locally owned and operated by Chicki Stehle, who has lived in the Bulverde/Canyon Lake area for about 20 years. The concept came from her desire to have a place for people to go and socialize, like the old days of checkers on the barrel. She wanted to bring back the sense of community to our wonderful small town. Chicki worked for the local schools for nine years and she had the sense of community through the children, parents and teachers. She is always trying to find ways to help out local schools and local causes. Check out her store front – there are always posters promoting various local events and artists. Chicki's Coffee Shop offers specialty coffees, pastries, bulk coffee, gifts, free internet, a meeting room and much more. Chicki is very proud of each and every one of her employees who has the same concept in mind concerning her customers. "We are like a small Cheers, where everyone knows your name. We wrap up our customers like they are our family. That is what we all are, a huge family." Chicki welcomes everyone to come join "the family". Chicki would like to thank the Bulverde/Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce for all of their support and for selecting her shop as Member of the Month.
